Who is Bogey Aviation LLC? We are a company that provides quality aircraft upholstery, aircraft overhaul and sales. The name Bogey is commonly known as an enemy or awesome aircraft. There is a story behind why we call it Bogey Aviation. In 1986, Richard Borgerding was an F-14 Plane Captain and jet engine mechanic in the U.S Navy with VF-51 and sailed on the U.S.S Carl Vinson (CVN-70). One of the pilots was calling for him by his last name, but couldn’t pronounce Borgerding right. The pilot just said from now on your name is Bogey and it stuck. Over the next ten years while he was in the Navy, Richard was called Bogey by most of his co-workers. Even today, some of his friends still call him this. Richard went full time with the Air National Guard working on C-130s and F-16 aircraft then retired.  Therese Borgerding has experiences in many areas. She worked for General Motors doing upholstery for the Chevy S-10 trucks. Quality work was a must and will be continued into Bogey Aviation. Therese has great management skills as she managed Great Clips stores. She focuses in on high quality work.

Bogey Aviation LLC primary business is aircraft upholstery. We will provide quality upholstery work that can meet your budget and needs by using only FAA approved fabrics and materials.  The second part of Bogey Aviation LLC is to buy slightly neglected aircraft and make them beautiful again. If needed, the aircraft will receive a complete overhaul, including engine. When complete, the aircraft would be available for sale once completed. Each aircraft may take three months to a year to complete depending on the condition. We use FAA certified parts only to ensure quality.  We are located at Darke County Airport (KVES) Hangar E, 9724 Ohio 121, Versailles Ohio.  and an office in Piqua Ohio.
